From the dark alley, to the Festival I go
Running and walking, doing both as far as I know,
Much I remember, but always trying to forget
The love I once had, like a flower in my bucket.
I am getting near because I can smell the clowns,
Their red hair can be seen anywhere through the barns
Plastic horses, sexy women, they are all doing their job.
The more I venture, the more answers I get,
The room of mirrors is what should be ahead.
But before that, I see a light, it switches between red and white.
I am walking around a bar, should I go in or should I go within?
A sit I take, not far from the barman, I see a familiar face, who could it be?
Someone just like me, venturing so far just to get a glimpse of this dark?
I go near, I pinch her arm,
She looks at me with literally, no harm.
She smiles, her eyes wide open,
Looking straight into my soul what was already broken.
„Hello!” I whisper, only she could hear it.
She smiles even more, this time, she really means it
I am confused, a girl here? This is a place where only demons are set to go.
Instantly, she takes my arm, after her I leave, just like an alarm.
I see knives, I see snakes, clowns and more monsters than someone can imagine.
I’m dreaming, I’m sure that I’m dreaming! This can’t be real!
Or it may be the life I’ve always wanted to see, painted black and surreal.
The dark room is where we stay, she’s taking off her mask,
What should I say? I’m waiting for her to do her task.
The mask goes up slowly as she’s getting more and more close to my body,
I can see the corner of her lips, her tongue making them wet,
Is she the one I think she is? Or is it just my mind, playing tricks.
Her lips are touching my nose, then down to my owns;
I can’t stand the laughter of the clowns I hear outside with their baloons.
But this is the Festival Macabre, nothing more to be expected.
The girl is still here, what should I do?
The more I see, the more I want want her but WHO!?
I am so confused, I don’t know what to do,
I should just forget her, move forward, like all normal people go.
But before I could move away from her,
The mouth of the monster opens wide,
Eating all what’s inside,
Killing each and every clown,
Nothing will be left down.
„Now this is really a dream!” I yell to myself, running across the Carnival.
That Demon wants me dead or just for herself, I refused her at the right time in order to save my life.
As I run around, I see tortured poeple, poor souls, they all found their end, venturing into this dark place of hate
I’ve been blinded by the light and down I fell, hurting my knees and my back,
The monster is right behind, what shall I do, run or fight back?
As she gets close, very close to my face, her mouth opens again but this time a flower, growing straight between my eyes.
It was the flower I gave to my beloved A, before she left for her journey whom she never came back.
My hand reaches to grab it, smelling it from one last time, knowing my end will be soon, nothing will be forgotten.
Closing my eyes I could see, something that seems to be a salvation, a salvation for the poor, this has to happen!
A heavy breath I can feel, hitting my back with almost zero fear.
I wake up, jumping off my bed
Another dream, another night lost because of this, I am dead.
I check my face, I check my eyes, everything seems to be fine,
At my left, I see her, sleeping like nothing happened,
I think her arms saved me once again from my fate, it has to be an angel, always there for this man full of hate.
Sometimes I do deserve to like this,
But her love is what makes me smile like a bliss.
Before I go to bed again, I check the window, maybe something has changed during those times.
Far in the distance, I see a red light, with a big message saying „Have a Macabre Night!”
